How Professional Investors Evaluate Any Business in Minutes

A free 10-minute training on the MVI Framework — Math, Valuation, Moats. Taught by Amit Chandan: former founding partner of an investment management firm, MBA from Cornell, engineering background.

No credit card required.

Why this training exists

Amit Chandan is a former founding partner of an investment management firm — applying the fundamental analysis principles Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, and Benjamin Graham have used for nearly a century.

He now teaches that framework — called MVI: Math, Valuation, and Moats — to professionals who want to invest with discipline rather than guesswork.

This is not a stock-tipping service. It is not a coaching program promising returns. It is education in a method.

INSIDE THE TRAINING

What you'll learn

01

The Three Questions

The questions every professional investor answers before owning any stock — and why most retail investors can't answer any of them.

By the end, you'll know what to ask before owning any stock - and how to skip ones that fail.

02

The Five-Minute Test

How to evaluate a company's competitive position, financial trajectory, and price-to-value relationship in the time it takes to drink a coffee.

By the end, you'll have a repeatable filter you can apply to any ticker you come across.

03

The Difference That Matters

Why owning a great company is not the same as making a great investment — and the framework that tells the two apart.

You'll understand why patient investors hold great businesses while others chase prices.

Math

Moats

MVI stands for Math, Valuation, and Moats — the three pillars professional investors use to evaluate any business.

Math is the language of business performance. Revenue, cash flow, debt, returns on capital. The numbers tell you whether a business is healthy, struggling, or quietly compounding.

Valuation is the discipline of paying a fair price. Even a great business is a bad investment if you overpay. Most retail investors skip this step entirely.

Moats are the structural advantages that protect a business from competition. Without a moat, today's profits get competed away tomorrow.
